T1 is a Korean-American organization formed as a joint venture between SK Telecom T1 and Comcast Spectacor. SKT was initially founded in 2002 as a StarCraft: Brood War team by E-Sports pioneer Boxer, and the organization operated in multiple games including League of Legends, DotA 2, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Overwatch (including as owners of the Overwatch League's Philadelphia Fusion) before signing their first Valorant players in Brax and AZK.
